Whitetail Deer
Whitetail Deer

Native to Texas, the Whitetail Deer are sometimes called the ghost of the forest. For creatures of their size, they can move with an almost eerie silence, and blend with their natural habitat. The elusive nature & quickness of this deer makes the approach challenging and why successful hunts are so special. Ranging anywhere from 100 – 400 lbs., the mature Whitetail Deer has a typical antler size of 8 – 14 points but it’s the width & configuration that creates the bragging rights. Archery Season in Hill County generally begins about Oct. 1st and general season approx.
