Fallow Deer
Fallow Deer

Fallow Deer are predominately grazers and browsers, so our grassland between bordering woods is ideal. Their unique flat antlers, somewhat resembling the antlers of a moose, make an impressive trophy. These animals are great athletes, able to leap fences that are twice their height from a stand still. They can reach speeds of over 30 miles per hour and can broad jump seventeen feet, though they prefer to go under obstacles rather than over them. Getting a shot on one as it bounds away is nearly impossible. The Fallow has no seasonal restrictions, however September – February are typically the best months.
